Navigating to Xceed Real Estate

Xceed Real Estate is located within the vicinity of Herdsman / Osborne Park on a very busy road which cannot be seen from a distance away upon first arrival onto the road it's situated on..

Not only that, there are lots of adjacent office buildings near by, and altogether it makes the first experience of finding the right place a bit tricky, let alone the reception inside!

This animation aims to solve that problem through a 1st person point-of-view in order so it can feel as familiar to the real thing as possible, all the way from the parking area, until the reception desk itself!

Development

The first stage entailed choosing a suitable portion of a GoogleMaps screen shot in order to have a very helpful placement reference for the process ahead..

The first modeling task was tracing Hasler road, & then all the buildings/structures next to it..

Despite having a GoogleMaps reference, some of the details were actually quite difficult to figure out, especially the smaller things such as the width of footpaths, so, it was very necessary to cross reference with reference photos.

As clearly seen, a lot of attention to detail was given, the interior of the lift to the right is a great example of this. Such detail was a must of course, due to the fact that it needed to resemble the real thing as much as possible.
