UWA Poster & Logo, Freelance Project
Every now & then my pastor from my church who has various connections with people (UWA in this instance) has given me some projects to work on, this time it was to first create a logo, & then put it into a a poster for promoting a Christian-orientated social group within the university called
"The Well".
Development
During the briefing, I was told what he wanted the poster to look like, & at first it was simply asked to exact jelly babies from images on the net & compose them together, though I knew I could do better than that !
I managed to find a 3D model of a jelly baby, and with this I spent time playing around with V-Ray materials until finding a suitable texture that had the desired aesthetic. Since I'd gone down this route, it was possible to arrange the jelly babies in any possible configuration, and so after playing around with multiple options, a suitable layout was found that could work with the rest of the composition..
Both portrait & landscape formats were required.
